1) Hùng Vương thứ ba có một cô công chúa rất đẹp tên là Tiên Dung. Nàng chỉ thích dùng thuyền buồm đi chơi trên sông biển. Lúc bấy giờ ở ven sông kia, có hai cha con Chử Vy Vân và Chử Đồng Tử sinh sống. Họ rất nghèo nên chỉ có năm vuông vải để thay nhau đóng khố, khi đi ra chợ mua bán.

1) Le troisième roi de la dynastie Hùng avait une fille très belle nommée Tiên Dung. Elle n'avait qu'un seul plaisir: faire des croisières. À cette époque vivaient au bord d'un fleuve Chử Vy Vân et son fils Chử Đồng Tử. Ils étaient très pauvres, et ne possédaient qu'un carré de tissu, qu'ils utilisaient comme cache-sexe à tour de rôle pour aller au marché.

1) King Hùng Vương III had a beautiful daughter named Tiên Dung. The princess liked to travel the rivers and the sea in her sailboat. At that time, a father and son family, Chử Vy Vân and Chử Đồng Tử lived by a river bank. They were very poor; they had only one piece of loincloth which they shared whenever one of them had to go to the market.
