1) Theo các nhà khảo cổ thì người Việt đã cư ngụ từ lâu trên đất Việt Nam. Tại vùng núi Đọ (Thanh Hóa) người ta đã đào được những mãnh đá đẽo một cách thô sơ dùng để cắt, nạo, chặt, dùi. Ở Yên Bái, Ninh Bình, Quảng Bình còn tìm thấy xương và răng của người thời cổ.

1) Selon les archéologues, le peuple Việt a depuis toujours occupé l'actuel territoire vietnamien. Aux alentours du mont Đọ (province de Thanh Hoá), des fragments de pierre grossièrement taillés ont été exhumés, qui auraient probablement servi à découper, à râper, à hacher, à perforer. A Yên Bái, Ninh Bình et Quảng Bình, des ossements et des dents d'hommes préhistoriques ont été retrouvés.
Life in the ancient times
1) According to archaeologists, the Vietnamese people had been living on the territory of Việt Nam for a long time. Around the area of Đọ mountain, these scientists dug up and found tools made from stones for cutting, scraping, chopping, and piercing. Many ancient skeletons and teeth were found at Yên Bái, Ninh Bình, and Quảng Bình provinces.
