1) Sau khi Lê Đại Hành hoàng đế mất, các hoàng tử tranh giành ngôi báu. Họ đánh lẫn nhau trong bảy tháng rồi Lê Long Việt mới được lên ngôi vua. Nhưng chỉ 3 ngày sau th́ Lê Trung Tông (tức Lê Long Việt) bị em ruột là Lê Long Đĩnh sai người vào cung đâm chết (1005).
