1) Thoát Hoan bị thua chạy về Tàu, cùng tùy tướng như: A Bát Xích, Phàn Tiếp vào triều tạ tội. Vua Nguyên là Hốt Tất Liệt giận lắm, muốn đem chém hết. May nhờ các quan hết sức can ngăn nên Hốt Tất Liệt mới tha tội chết cho các bại tướng.

Hốt Tất Liệt, the Mongol Emperor got so angry that he wanted to behead all of them. Thanks to the plea from other mandarins, the defeated generals were spared from a death sentence.
